OZARK ROADSIDE POTTERY
OZARK ROADSIDE POTTERY
This eye-catching vase and its colorful swirl drip glaze is a classic example of Ozark roadside pottery. In the early to mid 1900s, these pieces were sold at roadside tourist shops and gas stations throughout the Ozark mountains. Today, they are considered collectors items.
This vase features a combination of cobalt, sage green, rusty red, and ivory on a taupe background. It's in good condition considering its age and use, with a typical rough exterior, some crazing, a few chips, and no major cracks. Please see photos.
Dimensions: 7.25"H x 6.5"W
